We are a team of passionate and skilled clinicians dedicated to helping you rebuild your relationship with food and body image, honoring the mind-body connection on your unique healing journey.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with two decades of specialized experience in eating disorder recovery. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University, blending rigorous clinical practice with creative, compassionate care.
My passion for this work is deeply personal. Having overcome my own eating disorder as a young adult, I discovered firsthand how transformative art therapy can be when traditional words fall short. That profound experience revealed my true calling: to help others find that same lasting freedom, healing, and voice in their recovery journey.
Heather Sutherland, LMFT
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) who helps clients interrogate disordered thoughts, process destructive behavior patterns, and build a peaceful, authentic relationship with food and their bodies. My compassionate and collaborative approach empowers clients to draw on their innate strengths to achieve recovery aligned with their personal values.
With cultural humility as my foundation, I am particularly skilled in supporting marginalized communities and communities of color through the complex, intersectional dynamics of eating disorder healing.
